Cakap tak pijak tanah

Mak jemah sangat kan!

 

Today I overheard conversation between my two colleagues. They were gossiping about local actresses & infertility.

Male staff started:

“Ha… Ko tengok bila si pelakon EF kawin dengan Y, dorang takde anak kan? Tapi bila EF bercerai dan kawin lain dengan EE, dia dapat anak kan?”

Female staff replied:

“A’ah”

Male staff again:

“Sekarang ko tengok pula bila si Y ni kawin baru dengan si LS, si LS tak pregnant-pregnant lagi kan? So semua budak-budak ni (he was referring to the previous gossip group in the office) kata sekarang ko nampak tak siapa yang MANDUL! Might be si Y!”

Then…

They both were laughing.

Seriously I felt sick! Did they ever think that the infertility problem comes from Allah yang Maha Kuasa kerana only Allah knows what’s best for us? If they were laughing about someone’s KEMANDULAN, did they ever realize that they’re actually laughing at Allah’s takdir? I felt sorry for them. They are being ungrateful and low in moral just because they never have to struggle in getting pregnant or making their wives pregnant. CAKAP TAK PIJAK TANAH. Looking at this situation, I thank Allah for making me and DH a TTCian  couple (hopefully it's a temporary ujian, insyaAllah). At least we learn how to respect others that might not prefect as ‘they’ were (orang-orang subur yang pancut sekali dah terus pregnant macam ayam betina).

Sigh.
